Because each application has specific operational constraints, Subsea Tech’s mini-ROV range has evolved about a year ago in order to put the right features and price in front of the specific requirements of each client. In a competitive market (a bit more each day), Subsea Tech aims at offering the best compromise features/price while keeping the highest quality standards in terms of fabrication. Initially available in a single version, Guardian, Observer and Observer XT models are now proposed in 4 levels of finish : Starter, Sense, Max et Ultra.
Starter version dedicates to those who are only looking for essential features in a mini-ROV. Sense and Max versions offer more advanced inspection and navigation capabilities (Pan&Tilt on front video camera, depth and T° sensors, compass, etc.) as well as the possibility to integrate various payloads (sonar, positioning system, manipulator arm, etc.) thanks to an ancillary plug. The Ultra version allows, amongst other features, simultaneous integration of several payloads thanks its 2 ancillary plugs. A comparative table shows the technical features for each version.
